Susan Knight as a Fitness Trainer:
Susan Knight, C.C.S., C.P.R.S. has refined her expertise in the foundation of body mechanics (biomechanics) and is devoted to integrate the values of core strengthening. As a certified CFES Conditioning and Post-Rehabilitative Trainer, she works with individuals in conjunction with post physiotherapy treatment or as a personal trainer developing an individualized program to meet the needs of each person. Susan is kind, caring mentor who creates a safe workout environment for each person to succeed.

Back Care and Swiss Ball with Susan Knight
Back Care Class: Tuesdays 1:00-2:00 PM and Thursdays 11:00-noon/ Swiss Ball Class Thursdays 6:30-7:30PM
Back Care is a class open to everyone, but is especially dedicated to helping people appreciate the benefits of postural alignment and trunk and core stability. As well as to teach individuals the importance of proper body mechanics.
It offers a progressive program of exercises designed to target and reduce acute or chronic back pain by way of strengthening core abdominal muscles, stretching soft tissue structures, and correcting posture.
This is a truly unique class that should be a continuation of your physiotherapy treatment. It is a post-physiotherapy approach to help support the rehabilitation process and a preventative measure to limit future back pain recurrence.
Come and learn core muscle awareness in various functional positions; standing, seated, on your back and on your tummy. These training principles can be easily incorporated in, and will immediately better, your every day lives.
Individuals experiencing highly acute or exceedingly irritated back pain should be evaluated and given consent by a Physiotherapist or Doctor before participating. Please mention to Susan before the class begins your history of any prior treatment for back pain.
Anyone who is being treated by our physiotherapists or occupational therapists can have access to our gym.

Senior’s Conditioning Classes membership

If you want to workout in a safe, friendly environment with guidance from our occupational therapist and our fitness trainer, please join us on Tuesday and Thursdays at 10:00 AM. Our senior’s class is part of a government research project to increase mobility and balance and to prevent falls. You will be surprised how your physical condition will improve while having so much fun. Join us and share our positive experience of working out in a supportive and friendly environment.
